AAS "BTA Baltic Insurance Company" (registration No. 40103840140, LEI 3157002Q3I11LG1R1C12) is registered and licensed as a non-life insurer under Latvijas Banka, holding licences for all major non-life insurance classes including accident, health, motor, property and liability insurance, most valid from 10.06.2015, and also passporting into Estonia, Lithuania and Finland. For 2026, Latvijas Banka's financial market supervision plan foresees a total of 12 on-site inspections across the financial sector, of which 1 is specifically planned in the insurance segment, reflecting a reduced overall inspection scope compared to 2025. Latvijas Banka has also prepared proposals to strengthen insurance product information document (IPID) requirements for distributors.
