Regulatory updates
AIG Europe S.A. is fully authorized and supervised by the Commissariat aux Assurances (CAA) in Luxembourg. Its 2024 Solvency and Financial Condition Report (SFCR), approved by the Board of Directors on 3 April 2025, confirms compliance with Solvency II requirements throughout financial year 2024. AESA calculates its capital requirement using a Full Internal Model (IM-SCR). According to Milliman's October 2025 analysis of Luxembourg non-life SFCRs, AIG ranks #1 by gross written premiums (GWP) among the 10 largest Luxembourg non-life insurers, though its 2024 GWP slightly decreased versus 2023 and its solvency coverage ratio also declined slightly in 2024, driven by a decrease in the reconciliation reserve. AIG's 2024 combined ratio was approximately 92%. No material adverse regulatory actions have been reported.
