A.M.A. is authorized and registered as a mutual insurer under Spanish insurance law, supervised by the DGSFP. In 2012, the DGSFP authorized the merger by absorption of AMA Sociedad Sanitaria de Agencia de Seguros, SL into A.M.A. Agrupación Mutual Aseguradora.
