Regulatory updates

Generali France (including Generali Vie, Generali IARD and Generali Retraite) is supervised by the ACPR, which is the prudential regulator for French insurers. The ACPR's 2025 supervisory priorities include monitoring solvency and liquidity risks in life insurance, ensuring inflation is reflected in non-life liabilities, implementing the DORA regulation on digital operational resilience, overseeing climate risk stress-tests, and enforcing the new ACPR Recommendation 2024-R-03 (in force from 31 December 2025) on the duty of advice and personalised insurance recommendations. Generali Vie filed its 2024 Solvency and Financial Condition Report (SFCR/RSSF) with the ACPR in March 2025. No specific ACPR sanction against Generali France entities was recorded in recent public filings (2024–2025); the most recent ACPR sanction against a Generali entity dates to 2015 (Generali Vie, anti-money-laundering).
