Assistance call deadline

In the event of a claim relating to Travel Assistance, the Insured Party or their representative must contact the UnipolAssistance Operations Centre immediately and preventively, before receiving any service. Failure to do so results in no indemnity being paid, except in cases of proven objective impossibility. For the Traveller Accidents and In-Flight Accidents supplementary covers, written notice must be given to the Company within 3 days of the accident or from the moment it was possible to do so.

Unauthorized treatment

If the Insured Party receives hospital medical treatment without prior authorisation from the Organisational Structure (except in cases of proven impossibility), expenses are reimbursed only up to the amount that would have been incurred if the Structure had been contacted. No reimbursement is due at all if contact was not made and impossibility is not proven.
