It became a wholly-owned subsidiary of the LALUX Group (La Luxembourgeoise) on 31 March 2015.

Regulatory updates
DKV Luxembourg S.A. is authorised and supervised by the Commissariat aux Assurances (CAA), the competent supervisory authority for the insurance sector in Luxembourg (registered under commercial register no. B 45 762). As part of the broader Luxembourg insurance market, DKV Luxembourg is subject to the CAA's implementation of DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act, applicable from 17 January 2025), which imposes enhanced ICT risk management and cybersecurity standards on all supervised insurance undertakings. No specific individual regulatory actions or sanctions against DKV Luxembourg were identified in public CAA communications as of June 2026.
