Replacement vehicle | A replacement vehicle (or alternative transport) is provided for up to 30 calendar days during repair, but only when the repair is performed at an affiliated garage within the Centraal Beheer repair network. For theft, a daily allowance of €35 for up to 20 days is provided. Outside the network, no replacement vehicle benefit applies and the deductible increases by €600. | €100 | Included via Schadegarant network during repair: a loan car is provided during the repair period. In case of total loss via Schadegarant: replacement car for max. 5 calendar days. For theft: during 20-day waiting period, choice between EUR 20/day allowance or replacement car for up to 20 calendar days (NN determines make and type). Via Pechhulp Nederland module: replacement car for max. 2 call-outs/year, up to 5 working days if repair not possible within 24 hours. Via Pechhulp Europa module: replacement car for max. 2 call-outs/year, up to 21 days (to original end date of trip) if repair not possible within 48 hours. For replacement car abroad: valid ID and credit card required. |

Driver age experience limit | No minimum driver age limit or experience requirement is stated in the Centraal Beheer All Risk policy documents. Centraal Beheer explicitly states it has no age limit. | An additional deductible of EUR 250 applies if the regular driver stated on the policy is 24 years or older but the actual driver at the time of the incident is under 24 years old. This extra deductible applies on top of the chosen deductible and also applies if the chosen deductible is EUR 0. The extra deductible does not apply for collisions with birds or free-roaming animals, but does apply for secondary damage caused by such a collision. | The policy is available for persons aged 18 and over residing in the Netherlands. The vehicle must have Dutch registration. Driving without a valid Dutch licence is a general exclusion. If the licence was only invalid because its validity period had expired and the driver was under 76 years old, the exclusion does not apply. Supervised drivers under 18 ("begeleiderspas") are treated as the driver for exclusion purposes. |
Repair network requirements | For damage other than windscreen damage, the policyholder may choose a garage within the Centraal Beheer repair network. Choosing a garage outside this network increases the chosen deductible by €600. Advantages of the network include a 4-year repair warranty, replacement vehicle for up to 30 calendar days, and direct payment to the garage. Windscreen repair or replacement must be performed by an affiliated glass repair company. | Damage must be repaired by an ASR-selected repair shop (Schadegarant network for body damage, Glasgarant network for glass). If repair is not carried out by a selected shop, the claim compensation is reduced by EUR 500 (body damage) or EUR 500 (glass). Exceptions apply: emergency repairs abroad, or when the damaged car is traded in and a replacement is insured with ASR. An optional 'Free Repair Choice' (Vrije Keuze Herstel) add-on is available at an additional premium that removes the EUR 500 reduction. Repair shops in both networks carry certified sustainable repair accreditation. | Use of the Schadegarant approved repair network results in direct payment to the repairer with no additional deductible and provision of a loan car during repair. For glass claims, use of Glasgarant results in no deductible for repair and only the chosen deductible for replacement. If the customer does not use Schadegarant (or does not have the damage repaired at all), an extra deductible of EUR 400 applies on top of any chosen deductible. If the customer does not use Glasgarant for glass repair, a fixed EUR 150 deductible applies; for glass replacement an extra EUR 400 deductible applies on top of any chosen deductible. |
Territorial scope | The vehicle is insured in Europe, Asian Turkey, Morocco and Tunisia. Not covered in Russia, Belarus, Iran and Azerbaijan. | The insurance covers the countries listed on the International Motor Insurance Certificate (Green Card / Groene Kaart) that are not crossed out. Coverage ceases immediately if the policyholder moves abroad (unless to an EU country, in which case coverage continues until the next annual renewal date) or if the car receives a foreign registration. Coverage also ceases if the car is stored abroad for more than half the year (EU exception: continues until next annual renewal date). | Covered in all countries listed on the International Insurance Certificate (green card) that are not crossed out. For the Rechtsbijstand module, some conflicts are only covered in the Netherlands. Pechhulp Nederland excludes the Wadden islands Vlieland and Schiermonnikoog. Pechhulp Europa covers all countries on the International Insurance Certificate (except the Netherlands). If the policyholder relocates abroad, coverage ends on the day they no longer reside in the Netherlands. |
Anti theft requirements | Anti-theft security requirements apply to vehicles with a catalogue value above €75,000 and less than 5 years old, and to specific high-risk models: Toyota RAV4 (2019–2022), Toyota C-HR (2019–2023) and Kia Sportage (2022 or newer). If the vehicle is stolen and does not meet these security requirements, theft damage is not covered. | The car must be locked and secured at all times. If the policy schedule specifies a required security system (VbV-SCM Keurmerk Voertuigbeveiliging), the insured must comply. Non-compliance voids coverage for theft, joyriding, and break-in (for alarm-triggered systems) or for fraud and embezzlement (for required tracking systems). The security system must be approved by the Verzekeringsbureau Voertuigcriminaliteit (VbV), installed by a VbV-certified installer, and certified by Kiwa SCM, or be a technically equivalent factory-installed system. | Coverage for theft-related damage is conditional on the insured taking sufficient precautions: the vehicle must be properly locked and keys must not be left inside unattended. If keys are stolen or lost, appropriate measures must be taken to prevent the vehicle being used. For vehicles above certain catalogue value thresholds, specific security measures (security class) are required as a condition of theft coverage; the applicable requirement is shown during policy application. |
Claim notification deadline | Damage must be reported as soon as possible. This can be done via the Centraal Beheer App, online via MijnCB or by telephone. | Damage must be reported as soon as it is known. For break-in, vandalism, damage by unknowns, or hit-and-run: police report required within 14 days. For theft or joyriding: police report required same day (or next morning if at night). For theft abroad: police report required in that country, and also in the Netherlands within 24 hours of return. Theft details must be reported to VbV helpdesk (tel. 071-3641777, 24/7). For liability claims raised by third parties, the insured has up to 36 months to submit a claim. After 36 months, no compensation is provided. | Damage must be reported as soon as possible. For criminal acts (theft, joyriding, burglary, vandalism) or damage by an unknown third party, police report must be filed immediately; failure to do so and resulting prejudice to NN may lead to partial or full denial or recovery of the payout. Transport damage visible on the outside must be reported immediately to the towing/recovery company; non-visible transport damage must be reported within 3 working days of delivery. For theft: 20-day waiting period before payout begins, starting from the date of police report and notification to NN. |
Deductible rules | At policy inception, the policyholder may choose a deductible of €0, €150 or €300. The deductible does not apply to the third-party liability (WA) cover or to windscreen repair. For windscreen replacement, the chosen deductible applies with a minimum of €150. If repairs are carried out outside the Centraal Beheer repair network, the chosen deductible is increased by €600. | The insured can choose a deductible of EUR 0, EUR 150, EUR 250, or EUR 500. The higher the deductible, the lower the premium. The deductible applies to damage to the own car and to windscreen replacement, but not to windscreen repair (chip / 'sterretje'). The deductible does not apply to the roadside assistance (Hulpverlening) coverage, the optional breakdown coverage (Pechhulp), or to the additional costs listed in chapter 4.4 of the policy terms. An additional youth deductible of EUR 250 applies when an under-24 driver is involved in a collision/accident. | A voluntary deductible applies only to WA Plus and WA All risk coverage. The customer can choose EUR 0, EUR 150, EUR 300, EUR 600, or EUR 1,200. Multiple deductibles are added together. No deductible applies for: (a) lock/key replacement after forced robbery of keys; (b) glass repair via Glasgarant network. An extra mandatory deductible of EUR 400 applies if repairs are made outside the Schadegarant network, or if the damage is not repaired at all. For glass: EUR 150 mandatory deductible for repair outside Glasgarant, EUR 400 extra mandatory deductible for replacement outside Glasgarant. For total loss and theft, the deductible is deducted from the payout. |

Direct payment policy | Centraal Beheer pays the garage directly when repairs are carried out within the affiliated repair network (schadeherstelnetwerk). | ASR settles damage claims directly with selected repair shops (Schadegarant network); the insured does not need to advance money and only pays any applicable deductible to the repair shop. For glass damage, settlement is direct with selected glass repair companies (Glasgarant network). | NN pays repair costs directly to the Schadegarant network repairer; the customer pays only the applicable deductible to the repairer. For total loss via Schadegarant, storage and appraisal costs are also paid directly. Payment to the customer for theft/total loss only after transfer of vehicle ownership to NN. |
