Coverage is excluded if the driver lacks a valid driving licence, drives under the influence of alcohol (BAC above legal limits, or court conviction for drink-driving), drugs or narcotics. However, if the driver is an employee of the owner who is not a habitual alcoholic/drug user and is declared insolvent, the exclusion does not apply against the owner. Mutua retains a right of recourse against the at-fault driver. Only vehicles for private use are covered (Mutua Madrileña only insures vehicles for personal use).
claim_notification_deadline
The insured must notify Mutua Madrileña of any claim within a maximum of 7 days from the date of becoming aware of it.
