Overview
Aedes is a Belgian insurance underwriting agency (mandated underwriter, not an insurance company) founded in 1997 in Namur by brokers, for brokers, that designs and manages non-life insurance products (motor, home/fire, legal protection, bicycle and family liability) distributed exclusively through independent insurance brokers in Belgium; since April 2019 it has been a member of the French mutualist group Monceau Assurances, acting as mandated underwriter for Monceau Générale Assurance.
