Regulatory updates
In March 2026 Slavia pojišťovna confirmed a cyberattack by the hacker group ByteToBreach, initially reported as roughly 150 GB of data (later clarified by the company to around 22 GB affecting about a thousand clients), including policy documents, medical records and client communications; the company attributed the breach to a supplier error, reported the incident to regulators and stated it complied with DORA and GDPR requirements. The insurer also relocated its Prague headquarters to Vyskočilova 1422/1a (Brumlovka business complex) as of January 2026.
