Costs of legal representation in connection with claims under Art. 2 para. 1 letters a)–c) VPPPOV are covered in relation to property damage or lost profit only after the statutory deadline under §2798(2) of the Civil Code has elapsed without result or in cases of unjustified refusal or reduction of benefits by the insurer; included within the main liability limits
Green Card (International Insurance Certificate)

Passenger Accident Insurance

Accident insurance covering all persons transported in the vehicle (including driver) is available as an optional add-on; covers death by accident (CZK 100,000), permanent disability (CZK 150,000), daily compensation for treatment (CZK 100/day), daily hospitalisation compensation (CZK 100/day); only for two-axle vehicles without standing places; not available for motorcycles, trikes, quads

driver_restrictions
There are no general age or experience restrictions on who may drive the insured vehicle under the MTPL policy; however, the insurer has a right of recourse against the policyholder and driver if the vehicle was driven without the required driving licence, under the influence of alcohol (BAC > 0 as tested) or other substances, or if the driver was banned from driving; the insurer may not restrict coverage to named drivers

The insured must notify the insurer without delay (without undue delay) of any loss event, specifying the factual circumstances; notification may be made via www.cpp.cz or by calling 957 444 555; if required by law or the policy conditions, police must also be notified; all documents must be submitted in Czech (foreign-language documents must be accompanied by an officially certified translation); failure to notify may result in reduction or denial of benefits

A statutory bonus/malus system applies: premium discounts (bonus) or surcharges (malus) are calculated based on the previous claims history of the vehicle operator; the maximum bonus is 50% for 120+ months of claim-free history; bonus increases by 5% for each 12 claim-free months and decreases by 24 months of reference period per claim event; the insurer uses the Czech Insurers' Bureau (ČKP) database; bonus may not be transferred between different vehicle types (e.g. motorcycle to car); Extrabenefit Profi grants an advance bonus of 36 months subject to a 3-year claim-free condition

Target Market - Inclusion Criteria
Product designed for all vehicle operators for whom Czech law (Act No. 30/2024 Sb.) mandates MTPL insurance; covers individuals and legal entities owning or operating registered vehicles in Czech Republic with valid Czech registration certificate and license plate
Target Market - Exclusion Criteria
Product NOT designed for vehicles participating in organized motor races or competitions on closed circuits where traffic rules do not apply; excludes foreign-registered vehicles; excludes vehicles without valid Czech registration; excludes customers whose vehicle value relative to premium would make insurance disadvantageous
Premium Payment Terms
Premium payable on date specified in policy or on due date shown on premium notice; payment by bank transfer or postal order to account shown in policy using policy number as variable symbol; policies can be paid annually, bi-annually, quarterly, or monthly
Policy Termination / Cancellation
Policyholder can terminate within 3 months of claim notification with 1-month notice period; or at end of policy period with notice given at least 6 weeks before expiration; insurer can terminate if premium not paid
