In 2024, Mandatum received all necessary regulatory approvals to acquire Sampo's stake in Saxo Bank A/S. Mandatum plc was separated from the Sampo Group on 1 October 2023 and listed on Nasdaq Helsinki on 2 October 2023, with the FIN-FSA overseeing its ongoing compliance. The FIN-FSA's supervisory priorities for 2025 include soundness of governance, operational and financial risks, ESG and cyber risks, and compliance with DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act).
