Key conditions
Territorial scope
Coverage applies within Greek territory, EU member states, and all countries whose National Bureaux of International Insurance have signed the Multilateral Guarantee Agreement of 15 March 1991. For countries outside this scope, a special written confirmation and additional premiums are required. The driver personal accident coverage (K01) applies only within Greek territory. Green card rules

For countries not covered by this agreement, a special written endorsement must be obtained in advance from the insurer, upon written request by the insured and with payment of additional premiums. Coverage limits in all countries follow the statutory minimums applicable in the country of the accident, in accordance with EU Motor Insurance Directives.
Driver restrictions
The following exclusions apply to coverage: (a) driver without the legally required licence for the category of vehicle driven; (b) driver under the influence of alcohol or toxic substances in violation of the Highway Code (Law 2696/1999), where this violation is causally connected to the accident; (c) vehicle used for a purpose different from that stated in the policy and circulation permit, where causally connected to the accident. Claim notification deadline
The policyholder or insured must notify the insurer of any accident involving the insured vehicle immediately, without culpable delay, and no later than 8 working days after becoming aware of the accident. Any judicial or extrajudicial document relating to the occurrence of the risk must be forwarded to the insurer within 8 days of receipt. The policyholder must not make admissions of liability without the insurer's consent.
Bonus-malus rules
The insurer freely sets the premium at each renewal based on objective criteria applicable to all policyholders. Criteria include vehicle use, engine power, vehicle registration location, driver age, time since licence issue, accident history, submission of a positive accident declaration, and the insurer's obligation to compensate a third-party victim regardless of declaration. The insurer may freely adjust the tariff according to its techno-economic needs.
