Key conditions
driver_age_experience_limit
Policy excess may vary according to the age of the driver at the time of an accident. Specific excess amounts by age band are not publicly disclosed and require direct contact with Citadel. The RoadWise policy variant requires named drivers to be aged 30 or over with at least four years free of claims.
repair_network_requirements
The policyholder may choose any repairer of their choice; however, the vehicle must be surveyed by Citadel's appointed surveyor and the repair estimate must be approved by Citadel before repairs commence. Citadel does not guarantee the quality of works or expertise of any individual repairer. For newer vehicles OEM parts are generally used; for older vehicles, aftermarket, non-OEM, or recycled second-hand parts may be used.
territorial_scope
The policy provides Third Party cover for all EU member states as standard. To extend own damage cover (fire, theft, or accidental damage) to another country, the policyholder must inform Citadel in advance; an additional premium applies for own damage cover abroad.
