AGRO Ubezpieczenia - Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Wzajemnych
AGRO Ubezpieczenia
AGRO Ubezpieczenia is a motor third-party liability insurance for the Poland market with no online purchase and 24/7 assistance.
Direct payment
Poland operates under the classic claims system where injured parties file claims directly against the liable party's insurer. Direct claims settlement is not a standard feature of this product.
Geographic scope
Poland and countries whose National Bureaux are signatories to the Multilateral Agreement
Coverage applies in Poland and in the territories of countries whose National Bureaux are signatories to the Multilateral Agreement under the Green Card system. For damage caused in those countries, liability applies up to the guarantee sum required by local law, but no less than the Polish statutory minimum.

Key conditions
Territorial scope
Coverage applies to events occurring in Poland and in the territories of countries whose National Bureaux are signatories to the Multilateral Agreement under the Green Card system. For damage caused in signatory countries, the insurer's liability applies up to the guarantee sum required by that country's law, but no less than the Polish statutory minimum (5,210,000 EUR for bodily injury; 1,050,000 EUR for property damage).
Green card rules
The Green Card is an optional add-on available alongside the compulsory MTPL policy. It serves as an International Motor Insurance Certificate confirming insurance coverage in Green Card system member countries. It is required for travel to countries outside the EU/EFTA where Polish MTPL is not automatically recognised.
Driver restrictions
The insurer and the Insurance Guarantee Fund (UFG) have the right to seek reimbursement from the driver if the driver: caused damage intentionally, under the influence of alcohol, intoxicating substances, psychotropic substances, or substitute substances; obtained the vehicle by committing a crime; did not hold the required driving licence (except when saving life/property or pursuing a criminal); or fled the scene of the accident.
Claim notification deadline
In the event of a covered loss, the insured must immediately notify Police if there are casualties or if a crime is suspected, take all reasonable steps to prevent further damage, and provide all information necessary to identify the insurer to other participants of the event. All required documentation must be submitted to the insurer for proper claims settlement.
Bonus-malus rules
Bonus-malus rules are not explicitly defined in the IPID document. As is standard in Poland, premium discounts (bonus) and surcharges (malus) are applied by the insurer based on the policyholder's claims history at the time of renewal. An optional 'Protection of Discounts' (Ochrona przed Utratą Zniżek) add-on is available under the Bezpieczny Pojazd product suite to shield against loss of no-claims discount after a single claim.
