Verti
Verti is a motor casco insurance for the ES market with online purchase and 24/7 assistance.
Direct payment
When repairs are carried out at Verti's approved workshop network, invoices are issued in the insurer's name and the insurer pays the workshop directly. If the insured repairs the vehicle independently, they must submit repair invoices as a prerequisite for reimbursement.
Geographic scope
Spain and European Economic Area plus associated states (Andorra, Serbia, Switzerland)
Voluntary coverages (excluding Complete Travel Assistance) apply throughout the EEA and associated states. Basic Travel Assistance and Mobility Guarantee are restricted to Spanish territory. Complete Travel Assistance extends to all European countries and Mediterranean-bordering countries.
Coverage limits
Own damage (Daños al Vehículo Asegurado)
Covered
Covers damage suffered by the insured vehicle as a result of a traffic accident caused by an external, violent, sudden event beyond the authorised driver's control, whether the vehicle is in circulation, stationary or being transported. In the 'Con Franquicia' tier, a deductible of 150, 250, 350 or 500 EUR per accident applies to own-damage and collision-with-identified-vehicle covers; the deductible is not applied in total-loss scenarios. In the 'Sin Franquicia' tier, no deductible applies. Excludes normal wear, electrical modifications not by manufacturer, tyre-only damage, catalytic converter/software-only damage, tapestry damage from transporting accident victims, and removable telephony/navigation equipment.
Total loss indemnification
Covered
A vehicle is declared a total loss when the estimated repair cost exceeds its new value (valor de nuevo) or market value (valor venal) immediately before the claim, as per EUROTAX or specialist guides. Indemnification: 100% of the Spanish new-vehicle sale price (including legal taxes) if the accident occurs within the first year of first registration after leaving the factory; market value (valor venal) in all other cases. Second-hand vehicles are indemnified at market value. The deductible is not applied to total-loss claims. The insured must transfer title or surrender the vehicle to the insurer.
Partial loss – repair indemnification
Covered
Where damage does not constitute a total loss, indemnification is based on the cost of replacement materials and labour for repair or substitution. This applies to own-damage (Daños al Vehículo), collision with identified vehicle, theft, fire, and game-animal collision covers. In 'Con Franquicia' the agreed deductible (150–500 EUR) is deducted from the repair indemnification, except for theft, fire, glass, and game-animal claims. Maximum of four deductibles per policy year when multiple events occur.
Theft and robbery (Robo del Vehículo + Pérdida Total por Sustracción)
Covered
Two distinct covers are included: (1) 'Pérdida Total por Sustracción' – covers only total loss arising from illegitimate vehicle theft by third parties; and (2) 'Robo del Vehículo Asegurado' – broader cover including theft of the complete vehicle, theft of individual parts (indemnified at repair/replacement cost), and damage caused to the vehicle while in the hands of thieves or during commission of the crime. Total-loss indemnification follows the new-value/market-value rule (year 1 vs. subsequent years). If the vehicle is recovered within 30 days of theft and before indemnification, the insured must accept it back; after indemnification the insured chooses within 15 days. Excludes: theft of keys only, non-factory accessories/equipment, vandalism, theft by persons obliged to return the vehicle, negligence by insured/owner, and extraíble telephony/navigation equipment (for Robo). Deductible is not applied to theft claims.
Glass breakage (Rotura de Parabrisas y Lunas)
Covered
Covers repair or replacement of front windscreen, rear windscreen, door glass and other lateral glass of the insured vehicle when breakage is caused by an external, violent, sudden event beyond the owner's or authorised driver's will, whether the vehicle is in circulation, stationary or in transit. Valuation is based on glass replacement cost plus labour. Deductible is not applied to glass-only claims. Excludes: plastics, metacrylates, optics, tulips, interior/exterior mirrors, fixed or sliding roofs, scratches from use, superficial marks that do not impair visibility, and claims where the insured cannot prove the glass was repaired or replaced.
Natural perils (via Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros)
Conditional
There is no standalone named 'natural perils' cover in the Verti Todo Riesgo product. However, because the policy includes own-damage (casco) coverages, the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros clause applies (CCGG Arts. 83–89): the Consorcio guarantees indemnification for extraordinary events (earthquakes, tidal waves, extraordinary floods, volcanic eruptions, atypical cyclonic storms with gusts above 120 km/h, tornadoes, meteorite falls, and damage resulting from terrorism, rebellion, riot, and acts of Armed Forces or Security Forces in peacetime). Coverage activates automatically provided the policyholder has paid the mandatory Consorcio surcharge. Excludes nuclear energy, armed conflict, normal tidal/current action, and events from geological phenomena other than those listed.
Vandalism
Excluded
Vandalism and malicious acts are explicitly excluded from both the 'Pérdida Total por Sustracción' cover (Art. 31f of the CCGG) and the 'Robo del Vehículo Asegurado' cover (Art. 35e of the CCGG). Accidental own-damage cover (Art. 43) requires an external, violent, sudden cause from a traffic accident, which would not encompass deliberate third-party vandalism not arising from vehicle use. No named vandalism cover exists in the product.
Roadside assistance – Basic Travel Assistance (Asistencia en Viaje Básica)
Covered
Included as standard in both tiers. Covers: immediate mechanical repair at the breakdown site (labour and call-out, but not spare parts); tyre change using the vehicle's spare; vehicle extraction/rescue up to 310 EUR; towing to the nearest workshop (or insured's chosen workshop up to 150 km from the incident); transport for insured persons up to 50 km from the incident; storage and custody of the vehicle up to 95 EUR; fuel-shortage tow to nearest service station; emergency battery recharge for EV/PHEV (max. 3 per policy year, limit 50 km radius); tow for incorrect fuel; spare-key courier up to 95 EUR; tow following lateral glass breakage. Scope: Spanish territory only (km 0). Optional upgrade to 'Asistencia en Viaje Completa' extends to all of Europe and Mediterranean-bordering countries and adds vehicle transport home (>150 km), return-home assistance, hotel accommodation up to 3 nights at 50 EUR/night, accident-related passenger benefits, and overseas repair advance up to 460 EUR.
Replacement vehicle – Mobility Guarantee (Garantía de Movilidad por Accidente)
Optional
Optional add-on. A category-B rental car is provided to the authorised driver during repair of the insured vehicle following claims covered under own-damage, fire or theft coverages, or damage caused by third parties in a traffic accident. Cost charged to the insured: 5 EUR/day during the repair period (up to 30 days); 30 EUR/day for any delay in returning the rental vehicle or use beyond total-loss declaration (up to 30 days). Limit: 3 claims per policy year; rental period must be continuous. Coverage restricted to Spanish territory. Excludes: glass-only claims, immobilisations from non-covered events, pick-up/drop-off outside designated locations, and fuel/toll/parking costs (at insured's expense). Applies only to damages to the vehicle while in the hands of third parties during theft if 'Robo' cover is active.
Driver accident cover (Seguro del Conductor – Accidentes Personales)
Covered
Covers bodily injury suffered by the authorised and legally licensed driver as a result of a traffic accident while driving the insured vehicle. Three guarantees: (1) Death benefit: selectable sum from 30,000 EUR to 60,000 EUR; (2) Permanent disability: compensation calculated by applying a percentage from the policy's valuation scale to the contracted capital (30,000–60,000 EUR); (3) Medical assistance: covers necessary medical and hospital expenses, transport, non-external implantable prostheses, pharmaceutical costs, and reconstructive surgery up to the contracted limit (30,000–60,000 EUR) within 365 days of the accident (national territory). Auxiliary aids up to 3,100 EUR additionally covered. Aesthetic damage not covered as permanent disability. General voluntary exclusions apply (drink-driving, no licence, intentional acts).
Key conditions
driver_age_experience_limit
No minimum age or experience threshold is explicitly stated in the policy documents. However, the risk assessment is based on the driver profile declared at contracting (age, licence seniority, claims history). An undisclosed or inaccurate declaration may result in proportional reduction of indemnification or policy rescission.
repair_network_requirements
In the 'Con Franquicia' tier, repairs must be carried out exclusively in Verti's approved workshop network when that option has been contracted in the Particular Conditions. In the 'Sin Franquicia' tier, repairs default to Verti's approved network unless the insured contracts the free-choice-of-workshop supplement; this restriction does not apply to the 'Todo Riesgo Pintón' sub-variant where network use is mandatory. Free-choice-of-workshop is an available optional supplement for both tiers.
territorial_scope
Voluntary coverages (excluding Complete Travel Assistance) apply to losses occurring in EEA member states plus Andorra, Serbia, and Switzerland (Section III of the National Bureaux General Regulations). Extension to Section II states requires prior issuance of the International Insurance Certificate (CIS). Basic Travel Assistance and Mobility Guarantee are restricted to Spanish territory. Complete Travel Assistance extends to all European countries and Mediterranean-bordering countries.
anti_theft_requirements
No specific anti-theft device requirement is stated in the policy terms. However, the insurer will not indemnify theft resulting from gross negligence by the policyholder, owner, or driver that manifestly facilitated the theft. Theft committed by family members or dependants living with those persons is also excluded.
claim_notification_deadline
The policyholder or insured must notify the insurer of a claim within a maximum of 7 days from the date of knowledge of the event (Art. 18 of the General Conditions), unless a longer period is specified in the Particular Conditions. Failure to notify may allow the insurer to claim damages caused by the delayed declaration.
deductible_rules
'Todo Riesgo Con Franquicia': A fixed deductible of 150, 250, 350 or 500 EUR per accident is applied to own-damage (Daños al Vehículo) and collision-with-identified-vehicle claims. The deductible is NOT applied to: total-loss claims, theft (Robo/Sustracción), fire, glass breakage, or game-animal collision claims. When multiple damage events arise from different occurrences, a separate deductible applies per event, capped at a maximum of four deductibles per policy year. 'Todo Riesgo Sin Franquicia': No deductible applies to any claim.
