Regulatory updates
Línea Directa Aseguradora is registered with the DGSFP under key C0720 and is supervised by the Ministerio de Economía. As of June 2026, the company filed appointments in the Madrid Commercial Registry (BORME Bulletin 116, June 19 2026). The DGSFP is preparing Spanish entities for the revised Solvency II Directive (EU 2025/2), which enters into force in early 2027. Línea Directa is also adapting its customer complaint procedures to comply with Ley 10/2025, which will reduce the SAC response deadline from 2 months to 1 month by December 28, 2026. The Consejo General de Mediadores de Seguros filed a formal complaint with the DGSFP against Línea Directa's health insurance advertising campaign, alleging misleading claims about its Vivaz health product (2024).
