Verti
Verti is a motor third-party liability insurance for the ES market with online purchase and 24/7 assistance.
Direct payment
Verti arranges vehicle repairs through its network of partner workshops (talleres colaboradores). If the policyholder has contracted free workshop choice, repairs may be carried out at any workshop. For legal defence costs and damage claims, Verti may advance the indemnification to the vehicle owner once a third-party insurer has confirmed payment or a court judgment is final.

For states under Section II of the National Bureaux General Regulation, an International Insurance Certificate (CIS, formerly Green Card) must be requested in advance from Verti. When a claim occurs in an EEA member state other than Spain, Spanish coverage limits apply if they are higher than those of the state where the accident occurred.

Key conditions
territorial_scope
The mandatory liability coverage applies in Spain, the entire European Economic Area (EEA), and states under Section III of the National Bureaux General Regulation (EU member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom). For countries under Section II of the General Regulation, a Green Card (CIS) must be requested from Verti in advance. Voluntary coverages (except Complete Roadside Assistance) are also valid in EEA Section III countries. Basic Roadside Assistance applies only in Spain; Complete Roadside Assistance extends to all European countries and Mediterranean-bordering countries.
green_card_rules
Coverage is automatic in EEA member states and countries under Section III of the National Bureaux General Regulation without any additional formality. For countries under Section II of the National Bureaux General Regulation, the policyholder must request an International Insurance Certificate (CIS, formerly known as the Green Card) from Verti in advance of travel. When a claim occurs in an EEA member state other than Spain, the higher of Spanish or local statutory limits applies.
driver_restrictions
Coverage applies to any authorised and legally licensed driver declared in the policy's Particular Conditions. The policyholder may declare a single authorised driver or multiple drivers (habitual and occasional), each of whose characteristics constitute a risk factor affecting the premium. Coverage is excluded if the driver: (a) does not hold a valid driving licence for the category of insured vehicle (including licence never obtained, total loss of points, or withdrawal by court order); (b) is under the influence of alcohol (blood alcohol above legal limits as a determining cause of the accident) or drugs; or (c) uses the vehicle in racing, competitions, or preparatory tests. The insurer may exercise a right of recovery against the policyholder or insured for claims paid where the driver lacked a valid licence.
claim_notification_deadline
The policyholder or insured must notify Verti of any claim as soon as possible and within a maximum of 7 days from the date they became aware of it. Notification must be accompanied by all available information and documentation about the circumstances and consequences of the claim. The insurer must be allowed access for its appointed experts. Notifications may be made by telephone (91 175 87 67 or 900 81 69 18) or online at www.verti.es. Failure to notify within this period may entitle the insurer to claim damages caused by the late declaration, unless the insurer had knowledge of the claim by other means. Failure to provide information in bad faith or with gross negligence may result in loss of the right to indemnification.
bonus_malus_rules
The premium for successive renewal periods is calculated based on actuarial-technical tariffs in force at the time, taking into account coverage modifications, risk changes, and the personal claims history recorded in previous policy periods. If the premium for the new period implies an increase versus the previous period, the insurer must notify the policyholder of the new premium amount and due date before the contract expires. Claims behaviour and tariff updates (as provided under Ley 20/2015, Art. 94) are the main factors affecting the premium in subsequent years. A formal bonus-malus scale is not published in the policy documents, but prior claims experience is explicitly stated as a key pricing factor.
