Regulatory updates
On 23 June 2025 the Swedish branch Europeiska ERV Filial officially changed its legal name to ERGO Försäkring Filial as part of a Nordic merger in which the Norwegian ERGO Forsikring AS NUF merged into the Danish ERGO Forsikring A/S; the merger did not affect the Swedish branch's organisation number, contracts, premiums or service levels. ERGO Forsikring A/S subsequently announced an official Nordic market launch with plans to double premium income by 2030 and invest over EUR 20 million in the region over three years.
