In June 2025, Fitch Ratings upgraded Ethias' Insurer Financial Strength (IFS) rating from 'A' to 'A+' with a Stable Outlook. For full-year 2025, Ethias reported record premium income of EUR 3.83 billion (+8% YoY) and a net result of EUR 229 million (+8%). The Solvency II ratio reached 203%, exceeding the 200% threshold for the first time, two years ahead of plan. Ethias is supervised by the NBB (prudential) and the FSMA (conduct), and is authorised under licence no. 196.
