CNP Asfalistiki Limited
CNP Asfalistiki (now rebranded as ERB Asfalistiki from July 2025) is one of the largest and strongest general insurance companies in Cyprus, offering comprehensive insurance programs across motor, property, health, liability, marine, and travel segments. Founded in 1981, it was formerly a subsidiary of CNP Cyprus Insurance Holdings and part of the French group CNP Assurances; in April 2025, CNP Cyprus Insurance Holdings was acquired by Hellenic Bank for €182 million, and the company was subsequently rebranded to ERB Asfalistiki.

Regulatory updates
In April 2025, all required regulatory approvals were granted for the €182 million acquisition of CNP Cyprus Insurance Holdings by Hellenic Bank, completing the transfer of ownership. In July 2025, the company was officially rebranded from CNP Asfalistiki to ERB Asfalistiki. A notification was filed with the Superintendent of Insurance for approval of the name change. A forthcoming legal merger with Pancyprian Insurance (a Hellenic Bank subsidiary) is pending regulatory approval, which will create the largest insurance organisation in Cyprus under the Eurobank Group.
