The company is supervised by the Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht (BaFin), Graurheindorfer Str. 108, 53117 Bonn, and operates the composite insurance business in all supervisory-approved lines including non-substitutive health insurance, general accident insurance and travel-related assistance services. It has notified several EU regulators for cross-border freedom-to-provide-services business, for example with the Latvian supervisory authority for non-life insurance activities including financial loss, liability, assistance, health and accident insurance, and fire/natural elements cover. On the leadership side, Vera Scheuermann joined the management board effective October 2025, taking over responsibility for sales and marketing and succeeding Kai-Uwe Blum, who moved to focus on the management of Advigon Versicherung and HanseMerkur International.
