World Nomads travel insurance in Ireland is distributed under nib Travel Services Europe Limited, regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland (reference C172027), with products underwritten by Collinson Insurance Europe Limited (CIEL), which is authorised by the Malta Financial Services Authority and regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland for conduct of business rules. In June 2024, World Nomads partnered with Collinson to launch a new Annual Multi-Trip (AMT) product for the UK and Ireland with enhanced benefits and the SmartDelay parametric flight-delay service. In February 2026, nib Group announced the sale of its international World Nomads travel insurance business to International Medical Group (IMG), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SiriusPoint Ltd, for approximately AUD 67.5 million, with the transaction covering the World Nomads international brand and expected to complete through 2026-2027 subject to regulatory approvals.
