Regulatory updates
In March 2024 IVASS authorized DZ Bank AG to acquire, through Assimoco S.p.A., a 51% controlling stake in BCC Assicurazioni S.p.A. from Iccrea Banca. In January 2026, the Assimoco Group was again ranked among the insurers with the fewest customer complaints in IVASS statistics, reporting 1.00 complaints per 10,000 contracts for Assimoco and 0.26 for Assimoco Vita, versus a market average of 2.48, a result confirmed for ten consecutive years.
