I.00014. As a Belgian-incorporated company operating in Italy under the right of establishment, it is supervised on a macro- and micro-prudential basis by the National Bank of Belgium and the FSMA respectively, while IVASS oversees its Italian branch activity. The company's share capital has been progressively increased over recent years (from about €130.7 million to €180.7 million), and it remains part of the AXA Italia insurance group, whose parent (AXA Assicurazioni S.p.A.) is subject to management and coordination by AXA Mediterranean Holding S.A.U.
