Key conditions

Assistance call deadline

In case of significant medical expenses and/or need for repatriation, the insured must contact ADB "Gjensidige" Latvia branch (+371 67112222, during working hours) or the 24/7 partner OPS International UAB (+371 64415242) as soon as possible. Claims must be submitted no later than 1 (one) calendar month after the insured event.

Unauthorized treatment

Medical expenses must be coordinated with the assistance service for significant costs. If the insured receives treatment without prior coordination where required, the insurer may reduce or refuse reimbursement for those expenses.

Purchase while abroad

If the insurance contract is concluded while the insured is already abroad (outside the home country), coverage begins 48 hours after conclusion of the contract for medical expenses, dental, medical transport, repatriation, and related benefits.

Chronic conditions

Active recreation coverage

Travel must start in Latvia

War and civil unrest exclusion

Travel insurance now includes COVID-19 risk coverage as a standard inclusion in the current policy version (T&C Nr. 12.5).
