Regulatory updates
Argus operates in Malta as a branch (registration No. OC 1216) of Argus Insurance Company (Europe) Limited, registered in Gibraltar (No. 01862) and licensed by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission, with the Malta branch authorised and supervised by the MFSA. A related but distinct entity, Argus Insurance Agencies Limited, voluntarily surrendered its MFSA insurance distribution authorisation, ceasing to be authorised from 14 September 2021, a step the MFSA confirmed did not arise from any regulatory action. At group level, Argus's ultimate Bermuda parent, previously BF&M Limited, changed its name to Allshores Limited effective 14 May 2025, with several Bermuda-based group companies amalgamating under new names shortly after; the Argus Group itself was delisted from the Bermuda Stock Exchange in January 2025 following an amalgamation with a BF&M subsidiary.
