On 17 February 2023, the MFSA imposed an administrative penalty of €2,200 on HSBC Life Assurance (Malta) Limited for failing to submit the Auditors' Management Letter in respect of the Audited Financial Statements for the year ending 31 December 2019 and the Auditors' Management Letter for the Solvency and Financial Condition Report (SFCR) within the regulatory deadline.
