Regulatory updates
Athora Netherlands is regulated by DNB (prudential supervision) and AFM (conduct supervision). In 2024, AFM focused on customer interests and submitted specific information requests including on transition communication under the new Pension Act (Wtp). Athora Netherlands' Solvency II ratio remained robust at 201% at end of 2024. Fitch affirmed an 'A' (Stable) Insurer Financial Strength rating in August 2024, later revised to 'A' (Rating Watch Positive) in July 2025 following the announced acquisition of PICG. Regulatory approval for the PICG acquisition was received on 6 March 2026.
