Direct payment
If repairs are carried out by an AutoWeek-designated repair company, the policyholder pays no or a much lower excess and receives a discount on repairs not covered by the policy; AutoWeek settles directly with its Schadegarant repair network.

Legal expenses cover (traffic)

Optional add-on providing legal support via ARAG-Nederland for recovering damage/injury from third parties and for certain criminal or purchase disputes; costs are unlimited in the Netherlands, up to €60,000 within the EU, and up to €10,000 outside the EU.

Cover does not apply if the driver lacked a valid driving licence, was disqualified from driving, or was under the influence of more alcohol than legally permitted, drugs, or medication affecting driving ability; the car must not be used commercially, as a taxi, driving-school car or for courier services.
Claim notification deadline
