Regulatory updates
On 28 March 2025, Direct pojišťovna a.s. completed the acquisition of the entire insurance portfolio of wefox Insurance AG (operating as wefox Insurance AG Joint Stock Company Branch in Poland), becoming an active insurer in the Polish market. The Polish regulator KNF adopted new Distribution Recommendations for insurers in June 2026, to be implemented by 1 July 2027, covering design, offering and selling of insurance products.
