Regulatory updates
Caravela is registered with the ASF under code 1133 and is authorised only for non-life insurance business (it does not sell capitalisation products). Its 2024 Solvency and Financial Condition Report shows a solvency ratio above 150%, positive operating cash flow of over €30 million, and equity of around €70 million, though technical liabilities were strengthened by more than €17 million leading to a negative net result for the year. Caravela was also named by the ASF among the insurers that fully adopted its recommendations on premium payment notices. Market reports in 2025 referenced possible acquisition interest in Caravela from groups such as Allianz and Reale Mutua, though no completed transaction has been confirmed.
