Regulatory updates
In May 2026, Generali Group announced that Europ Assistance's activities worldwide, including Portugal, will be rebranded under the new global 'Redion' brand (integrating Europ Assistance and Generali Employee Benefits), with the transition due to be completed by October 2026; in Portugal the Europ Assistance brand disappears while AdvanceCare retains its name. Separately, the company launched a new institutional website in December 2025 and, in February 2026, created a dedicated 'EAGIR' support line for clients affected by storms and floods in Portugal.
