Direct payment

The Insurer may advance funds abroad, up to the policy limits, for immediate personal expenses following baggage theft/loss, or once the medical expenses limit is exhausted during hospitalization, provided the Insured or a third party first provides adequate security (e.g. a certified cheque); any amount advanced must be reimbursed within 60 days.
