Regulatory updates
Ageas Portugal – Companhia de Seguros, S.A. is registered with ASF under number 1129, and Ageas Portugal – Companhia de Seguros de Vida, S.A. under number 1039. The ASF published its 8th edition of the Regulatory Update (Atualidade Regulatória) covering legislative and regulatory acts relevant to the insurance and pension fund sector. In 2025, the Portuguese direct insurance market grew 13.4%, with Life branch up 17.8% and Non-Life up 9.2%. A new ASF regulatory norm (No. 10/2024-R) on anti-money laundering for Life insurance entities was issued in November 2024. A new administrator, José Reino da Costa, was appointed to Ageas Portugal's board in April 2026.
