Driver age experience limit | The driver must be at least 24 years of age. The vehicle must not be older than 12 years at the time of entering into the casco (EXTRA/MAX) coverage. GAP insurance (financial loss) is available only for vehicles not older than 6 months from first registration or first use as a new vehicle (whichever comes first). | No explicit minimum driver age or minimum driving experience stated in the policy terms or IPID. However, the pricing model takes into account the age of the policyholder/insured and their claims history over the past three years. Younger or inexperienced drivers may face higher premiums. | No specific minimum driver age or driving experience requirement is stated in the policy terms. Coverage applies to any driver who holds the required valid driving licence for the relevant vehicle category. The insurer will not pay if the driver lacked the required driving licence, had a suspended licence, or had a penalty of a driving ban at the time of the loss. | No explicit minimum driver age or experience requirement is stated in VPP KAS-7, OPP 276-7, or the IPID. The policy covers any driver with a valid driving licence; coverage is excluded if the driver had no valid driving licence, had a suspended licence, or had a driving ban at the time of the loss (Art. 4 ods. 10 VPP KAS-7). |
Repair network requirements | Repairs must be authorised by Allianz before commencement. If the insured demonstrates the extent of damage and Allianz does not respond within 7 days, repair may begin without prior approval. At a contract (authorised) workshop: materials up to manufacturer list prices; labour per manufacturer norms and hourised rates of the authorised repair centre. At a non-contract, non-authorised workshop: labour rate capped at 36 EUR incl. VAT; painting coefficient max 100%. Allianz pays the workshop directly (direct billing) at contract services. Repairs abroad require prior Allianz consent; without consent, reimbursement is limited to Slovak-equivalent costs or costs of minimum necessary temporary repair. | The insurer covers transport of the damaged vehicle to the nearest authorized service center within Slovakia or abroad. Repair costs are reimbursed based on prices and labor rates at authorized repair shops in Slovakia in the relevant region. Repairs abroad are assessed individually; the insured must consult the insurer before proceeding. The insurer may reduce the indemnity to the level of costs that would have been charged at an authorized service in Slovakia. | For standard claims the insured may choose any repair facility. However, if a restricted coverage variant is agreed in the policy (limited coverage for accidents caused solely by another party, Article IV §3), repair payment is based on the invoice from the insurer's recommended contracted service. If the repair is performed outside the contracted network in this variant, the insurer calculates the benefit by budget. For glass claims, if repair/replacement is done outside the contracted network, the benefit is calculated as if it had been done in the contracted network. For non-authorised services, labour is capped at EUR 36.00/hour incl. VAT (VPP HAV 21.4). | Reasonable repair costs are assessed differently depending on the repair shop type: (a) Authorised workshops: costs compared to insurer's calculation using original parts prices and manufacturer labour norms; (b) Contracted workshops: costs equal to agreed labour rate between insurer and service; (c) Non-contracted non-authorised workshops: insurer applies max. 20 EUR/h (incl. VAT) and aftermarket part prices; 20% discount applied if aftermarket part is unavailable; (d) Budget estimate (no invoice): 10 EUR/h excl. VAT, no DPH, aftermarket parts. The insurer reserves the right to designate the repair shop (Art. 12 ods. 7 VPP KAS-7). |
Territorial scope | All casco coverages (own damage, theft, vandalism, natural perils, glass, fire) apply on the geographic territory of Europe. Assistance services apply in Europe including the European part of Turkey and the Greek part of Cyprus, excluding Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and Moldova. Legal assistance is limited to the Slovak Republic. MTPL is valid in all Green Card system countries. | Coverage applies to insured events occurring on the geographic territory of Europe and the European part of Turkey. This applies to the basic comprehensive coverage and all optional add-ons. | The insurance is valid in the geographic territory of Europe and the entire territory of Turkey, except for countries subject to full embargo (Belarus, Iran, DPRK, Cuba with US element, Russian Federation, Syria, Venezuela with US element, Crimea, Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions). For partial loss repairs abroad, prior written approval from the insurer is mandatory and the total loss threshold is 100% of the vehicle's general value. | The insurance covers the geographic territory of Europe, unless otherwise agreed in the insurance contract (Art. 5 VPP KAS-7). Assistance services are valid in Slovakia and abroad (24/7 via Global Assistance Slovakia s.r.o., SR: 18118, abroad: +421 2 6353 2236). The cargo transport add-on covers theft/robbery only within Slovak territory. |
Anti theft requirements | The vehicle must be equipped with an anti-theft security system commensurate with the insured sum. For vehicles with insured value above 50,000 EUR incl. VAT, two separate security devices are required. Accepted devices: alarm, mechanical steering column lock, electronic tracking/locating system (GPS tracker), immobiliser. Security must be activated at all times when the vehicle is unattended. Vehicles with manufacturer-fitted or certified third-party-installed security are accepted. No security requirements for tractors, other agricultural machinery, construction equipment or trailers. | The vehicle must be equipped with the prescribed anti-theft device according to the vehicle's insured value (prescribed security tiers are an integral part of the policy). The anti-theft device must be fully functional and activated whenever the vehicle is left unattended. In the event of key loss or theft, the insured must immediately report to police, take security measures and replace the locking/security systems. Theft is not covered if the prescribed anti-theft device was absent, non-functional or not activated at the time of loss. | For vehicles up to 3,500 kg GVW, the minimum number of anti-theft devices required depends on the insured sum and vehicle age: insured sum up to 20,000 EUR: 1 device for vehicles 5–7 years old, 0 for 8+ years; insured sum 20,001–70,000 EUR: 2 devices for 5–7 years, 1 for 8+ years; insured sum above 70,001 EUR: 3 devices for 5–7 years, 2 for 8+ years. Devices of the same type cannot be duplicated. For vehicles over 3,500 kg: immobiliser in ignition key, mechanical anti-theft device, or car alarm required. For motorcycles: hardened steel security lock required. All devices must be functional and installed by a licensed installer. If mandatory devices are not active at the time of loss, the insurer may reduce the benefit. | The insured must secure the vehicle against theft beyond standard locking, as follows: (a) Personal vehicles up to 50 000 EUR (new value incl. accessories): min. one prescribed security device; (b) 50 000.01–150 000 EUR: higher-grade immobiliser (VAM 01/R1/FBS III+) or GPS tracking system, or combination of min. two prescribed devices; (c) Above 150 000.01 EUR: combination of min. three (or two) prescribed devices including immobiliser + alarm + mechanical lock (I+A+M) or GPS + mechanical lock or GPS + alarm or GPS + immobiliser. Heavy vehicles >3 500 kg up to 200 000 EUR: min. one device; above 200 000.01 EUR: min. two. Motorcycles: wheel/disc lock with hardened steel chain/shackle or auto alarm. Failure to comply results in no indemnity for theft (Art. 13 ods. 10 VPP KAS-7). |
Claim notification deadline | The insured must notify Allianz of a claim event within 15 days if it occurred on Slovak territory, and within 30 days if it occurred abroad. Preferably as soon as possible and within 24 hours. Late notification (after 15 days / 30 days respectively) entitles Allianz to reduce indemnity by 20%. Claims can be reported online at www.allianz.sk/skoda or by phone +421 2 50 122 222. For towing, online at allianz.sk/odtah. | The insured must notify the insurer within 15 days of a loss event (by phone to 0850 311 312 or +421 2 5966 6997, via the website www.csob.sk, or by email to infolikvidacia@csob.sk). Theft, vandalism and events involving third parties must be reported to the police without delay. In the event of a foreign claim, a police report with an official translation into Slovak must be provided. New facts regarding the extent of damage must be communicated within 15 days of the inspection or start of repair. | The insured must notify the insurer of a loss event without undue delay, at the latest within 15 days from the moment of discovering the loss event. Notification can be made online via generali.sk, by telephone (+421 2 38 11 11 17), via the client zone, or in writing by post. In the case of theft or suspected criminal offence, the police must be notified immediately. If the stolen vehicle is subsequently found, the insured must notify the insurer within 7 days of discovering this fact. | The insured must notify the insurer of any insurance event without undue delay, no later than 30 calendar days from the occurrence of the event, or from the day the insured learned of it (Art. 10 ods. 10 VPP KAS-7). Theft, robbery, vandalism, animal collisions, and third-party damage must also be reported to the police immediately. After a theft, the insured must surrender all original keys, the original vehicle registration document, service booklets and other documents within the investigation period (Art. 10 ods. 20 VPP KAS-7). |
Deductible rules | The deductible (spoluúčasť) amount is agreed in the policy contract. Based on market sources, available deductible options are 100 EUR or 200 EUR per claim. The deductible is deducted from each individual claim payment. No deductible applies if: (a) the vehicle was damaged in an accident and the insured is not at fault (damage covered from the at-fault party's MTPL); (b) repair of the windscreen (without replacement) following mechanical damage by any accidental event, provided no other vehicle damage occurred. Deductible does not apply to MTPL, legal assistance, assistance services, accident insurance and GAP insurance. A 50% increased deductible applies for EXTRA/MAX packages in the period between policy start and successful photo inspection, but minimum the contractual deductible. | The basic comprehensive insurance is concluded with a deductible, chosen by the policyholder, with the following options: EUR 50, EUR 100, or 5% (minimum EUR 150). The deductible is deducted from each individual claim payment for each insured risk. Exception: windscreen repair is settled without any deductible. If the insurer proves the insured had no fault and the at-fault party has MTPL, no deductible is applied. For the optional glass add-on: no deductible for repair; EUR 15 for replacement. For the replacement vehicle add-on: EUR 20 deductible. | The policy is concluded with a deductible (excess), the amount of which is specified in the policy contract. The deductible can be set as a fixed amount, a percentage, or a combination of both. A higher (increased) deductible applies if a loss event occurs before the mandatory vehicle inspection has been completed (applicable to used vehicles). Once the inspection is completed, the deductible automatically reverts to the standard agreed level. Add-on coverages are also subject to their own deductibles as specified in the policy. The deductible is deducted from the total damage amount for each individual loss event. | For personal and utility vehicles up to 3 500 kg, the insured selects the deductible level; available options affect the premium. Deductible is deducted from every claim (Art. 22 ods. 1 VPP KAS-7). No indemnity is paid if the loss amount is lower than the agreed deductible (Art. 22 ods. 3 VPP KAS-7). If one reported event results in multiple losses, deductible is applied to each (Art. 22 ods. 2 VPP KAS-7). Windscreen-only claims (base policy, no glass add-on): 5% min. 165 EUR for vehicles ≤3 500 kg; 10% min. 330 EUR for vehicles >3 500 kg, buses, tractors. Glass add-on: 5% min. 50 EUR (no deductible if repair cost ≤60 EUR). Replacement vehicle add-on: no deductible. Cargo transport add-on: deductible 165 EUR. If the driver had 0.01–0.49‰ BAC, indemnity is reduced by 30%; 0.50–0.99‰ by 50%; ≥1.00‰ — no indemnity (Art. 12 ods. 12 VPP KAS-7). |

Direct payment policy | For casco claims, Allianz pays the repair workshop directly when an authorised contract service is used (direct billing without the insured paying out of pocket). For MTPL claims, payment is made directly to the injured party. For total loss or budget settlement, the insured receives a bank transfer within 2 business days of accepting the offer. | Insurer pays the repair shop directly for repairs at authorized service centers; for total loss and theft, payment is made to the insured. Claims must be reported within 15 days. Insured must use the contractual assistance service for towing. | Insurer pays the claim directly to the insured in EUR to the bank account specified by the insured, or to the last known address. In the case of repair, payment is made after submission of the original repair invoice. For glass claims, payment is based on invoice from a contracted service partner. Towing and roadside assistance costs are only covered under the separately contracted assistance service conditions. | The insurer pays repair costs directly to authorised or contracted repair shops. If the insured uses a non-contracted, non-authorised repair shop, indemnity is calculated on the basis of a budget estimate using max. 20 EUR/h labour rate (incl. VAT) and aftermarket part prices. Payment to a third party (e.g. repair shop) is the standard channel; reimbursement to the insured is also possible upon presentation of invoices. |
