The AZN publicly announced a supervisory measure against Merkur zavarovalnica (Dunajska cesta 58, Ljubljana) on 28 October 2025 for identified violations of Article 50 of the Insurance Act (Zakon o zavarovalništvu); the violation has since been remedied according to the AZN register. An earlier supervisory measure against the company was also published by the AZN in April 2023. The company remains a member of the Slovenian Insurance Association (Slovensko zavarovalno združenje).
