Regulatory updates
Santalucía holds administrative registration key C0174 with the DGSFP. In March 2024, its subsidiary Santalucía Pensiones SGFP was authorized by the DGSFP to operate as a pension fund manager (BOE, 27 March 2024). Subsequently, in September 2024, Santalucía unilaterally renounced this authorization; the DGSFP accepted the withdrawal and cancelled its registration from the special register of pension fund managers. In 2026, Santalucía became the second-largest shareholder of Unicaja Banco, strengthening its bancassurance channel.
