Regulatory updates
In October 2025, the FMA approved the transfer of ERGO Versicherung AG's entire portfolio of company group pension (betriebliche Kollektivversicherung) contracts to DONAU Versicherung AG Vienna Insurance Group, effective end of 2025. Earlier, in 2022/2023, ERGO Österreich acquired and merged the Viennese legal-protection specialist D.A.S. Rechtsschutz AG, which became part of ERGO Versicherung AG in August 2023.
