Effective 1 January 2026, Zurich Austria's management board was restructured: René Unger was appointed the new CEO of Zürich Versicherungs-Aktiengesellschaft in Austria, with Dr. Claudio Passardi set to join as CFO subject to FMA approval, while former CEO Dr. Luciano Cirinà moved to a global Commercial Insurance role within the Zurich Group.
