Property Damage Liability
€7,600,000 – €30,000,000

Defence Against Unjustified Claims & Telephone Legal Advice
Covered
Allianz actively defends the policyholder against unjustified third-party compensation claims within the agreed liability sum. In addition, all Mein Kfz packages include telephone legal advice from an Allianz-appointed lawyer on traffic-law matters concerning the insured vehicle, limited to 12 calls per calendar year. A full standalone Kfz-Rechtsschutz (traffic legal protection) product is sold separately and is not part of this coverage.
Green Card (International Motor Insurance Card)
Covered
Allianz issues the Green Card free of charge as proof of motor liability cover abroad. It is not necessary in most European countries in the geographic sense, but may be required or recommended for certain other countries depending on current rules; contractual extensions of the territorial scope are possible.
Kfz-Assistance (Basic)
Covered
Basic roadside assistance is automatically included in every Mein Kfz package (including COMFORT/liability-only), covering on-site help, towing to the nearest workshop, mobility assistance within a 50 km radius, and an information service. It excludes agricultural vehicles such as tractors and combine harvesters. An upgraded Assistance level with, e.g., a replacement-car service is available in the Kasko packages.
Driver Accident Insurance
Covered
Driver accident insurance is included as part of the COMFORT base package, covering accidents resulting in permanent disability and/or death of the driver while driving, using, loading/unloading, directing, or entering/exiting the insured vehicle. The specific insured sum is individually agreed at contract conclusion and was not disclosed as a fixed figure in the reviewed sources.
Passenger (All Occupants) Accident Insurance
Optional
Only in PLUS, EXTRA, MAX
Accident cover for all occupants (not just the driver) is not part of the COMFORT liability-only package; it can be purchased as a separate add-on product, or is included automatically by upgrading to the PLUS package, which bundles 'Unfallversicherung für alle Insassen' together with Naturkasko.
Key conditions
Territorial scope
Cover applies throughout Europe in the geographic sense; contractual territorial extensions are possible.
Green card rules
Allianz issues the Green Card (international insurance card) free of charge; it is not required in most European countries but may be required or recommended for others depending on current rules, and must be shown at the border when required.
Driver restrictions
The reviewed sources do not specify fixed age or licence-holding restrictions for drivers; the premium is instead individually classified via the Bonus-Malus system based on claims history.
Claim notification deadline
Policyholders must report claims without undue delay and take reasonable measures to mitigate and prevent further damage; specific deadlines are set out in the full terms and conditions.
Bonus-malus rules
Premium is classified on a 19-level Bonus-Malus scale (S5 to 17); new drivers without a prior contract start at level 9, one claim-free year lowers the level by one (reducing premium), while claims raise it.
