Bodily injury liability limit
€6,450,000
Statutory minimum sum insured for bodily injury, damage to health or death caused to third parties, per claim event, unless a higher amount is agreed.
Property damage liability limit
€1,300,000
Statutory minimum sum insured for destruction or damage to third-party property, per claim event, unless a higher amount is agreed.

Green Card coverage
Covered
Coverage is valid in Croatia and in the other member countries of the Green Card System; if the country where the accident occurred prescribes a minimum sum insured higher than Croatia's, the insurer covers the claim up to that higher amount.
Roadside assistance
€130 – €450
Optional add-on offered in three tiers – Groupama Asistencija Hrvatska, Regija and Europa – covering roadside repair, vehicle transport, replacement vehicle, alternative transport and accommodation, with 24/7 contact centre access; per-service limits vary by tier (e.g. roadside repair up to €130–€200, vehicle transport up to €200–€450).
Driver personal accident cover
Optional
Optional personal accident cover for the driver, providing benefits for death or permanent disability resulting from an accident while driving; the sum insured is freely agreed when the policy is concluded.
Passenger personal accident cover
Optional
The same optional personal accident product extends to passengers travelling in the vehicle, covering death or permanent disability resulting from an accident; sold together with driver accident cover as one add-on.
Key conditions
Territorial scope
Coverage applies in the Republic of Croatia and in other member countries of the Green Card System.
Green card rules
If the country where the accident occurred prescribes a minimum sum insured higher than Croatia's, the insurer must provide cover up to that country's higher minimum sum insured.
Driver restrictions
The insured loses rights under the policy (and the insurer may pursue regress) if the vehicle was not used for its intended purpose, the driver lacked a valid licence or was disqualified, drove under the influence of alcohol (≥0.5‰) or drugs, caused the damage intentionally, or the damage resulted from a criminal act of reckless driving.
Claim notification deadline
The insured must notify the insurer of a claim within 3 days of becoming aware of the event and provide full, truthful details of the accident and its circumstances.
Bonus-malus rules
MTPL premium is set according to a premium-tier (bonus-malus) system; an optional AO Bonus Protection clause lets the policyholder keep the same premium tier at renewal despite one reported claim per insurance period, and the insurer may reclaim (regress) up to 12 average net salaries from a driver responsible for aggravated violations such as drink-driving.
