Colonnade Insurance S.A. holds a non-life insurance license from Luxembourg's Minister for Finance, granted on 24 July 2015, and is authorised to underwrite 17 of 18 EU statutory non-life classes (excluding motor third-party liability), passported across the EU including Czechia. In January 2026, AM Best affirmed Colonnade's Financial Strength Rating of A- (Excellent) and Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of 'a-' (Excellent) with a stable outlook, citing strong balance sheet strength and consistent underwriting profit. The Czech branch (organizační složka) has been registered in the Commercial Register (Municipal Court in Prague) since 19 October 2015.
