Regulatory updates
ČPP is regulated by the Czech National Bank under Act No. 277/2009 Coll. on insurance. In 2024, the company adapted to the implementation of the EU Motor Directive, introducing real-time online verification of vehicle insurance validity from October 2024. The CNB also issued new guidance (RS2025-01) effective from 1 July 2025 regarding education requirements for fleet insurance intermediaries under the amended Act No. 396/2024 Coll. on insurance distribution.
