Sygeforsikringen "danmark" is supervised by Finanstilsynet as a Group 1 insurance company. Its wholly-owned subsidiary "danmark" Erhverv, Skadesforsikringsaktieselskab (offering collective dental insurance to businesses) underwent a Finanstilsynet function inspection in H2 2025 regarding its Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR) calculation as of Q2 2025; the company was ordered to correct its use of a duration-based approximation method for interest rate risk, and had a solvency coverage ratio of 249%. An earlier ordinary inspection of the parent company in 2012 found a solid economic foundation with solvency coverage of 392% versus the individual solvency requirement.
