Swedbank P&C Insurance AS is licensed by Finantsinspektsioon as a non-life insurer. The FSA updated the insurer's licence entry on 2 September 2025, including the addition of motor vehicle liability (Solvency II) since 10 July 2023. Swedbank AS (the bank) is supervised under the ECB Single Supervisory Mechanism in cooperation with Finantsinspektsioon. An earlier AML-related criminal referral in 2019 led to criminal proceedings rather than regulatory sanctions.
