Coverage limits
Own damage (all accidents)
Conditional
Only in Formule 3 (Dommages tous accidents)
Covers damage to the insured vehicle from collision with a fixed or mobile object (including wild animals), vehicle overturning, avalanches, rockfalls, landslides and floods. Indemnity is based on the vehicle's market value (valeur vénale) before the loss, minus deductible, or on the purchase price if the loss occurs within 12 months of first registration and the vehicle was bought from a motor professional. Only available when the 'Dommages tous accidents' guarantee has been subscribed.
Total loss / theft not recovered
Conditional
Only in Formule 2, Formule 3
In case of total destruction (declared technically or economically irreparable) or theft not recovered within 30 days of the police report, indemnity equals the vehicle's market value before the loss minus deductible, or the purchase price if the loss occurs within 12 months of first registration. Minimum indemnity floors of 1,200 EUR (2,000 EUR if Dommages tous accidents is included) apply. The optional Pack Indemnité+ increases indemnity based on vehicle age (up to purchase value if <36 months, market value +30% if 36-60 months, +40% beyond 60 months).
Partial damage
Conditional
Only in Formule 2, Formule 3
When repair cost is lower than the vehicle's market value before the loss, indemnity equals the cost of repairs, minus any applicable deductible.
Theft
Conditional
Only in Formule 2, Formule 3
Covers disappearance of the insured vehicle, theft of the car radio, fixed audio/video equipment, or vehicle components (e.g. wheels, roof box), and interior/exterior damage resulting from theft or attempted theft. Theft is excluded if keys were left in, on, or under the vehicle unless there was forced entry into a locked private garage or gate, or violence was used.
Glass breakage
Conditional
Only in Formule 1 (option), Formule 2, Formule 3
Covers accidental breakage of windscreen, side windows, rear window, headlight lenses, and translucent roof panels, at replacement value. Windscreen repair (instead of replacement) avoids the deductible where one applies. Optional in Formule 1; included in Formule 2 and Formule 3.
Natural catastrophes, technological catastrophes, storms, hail, snow
Conditional
Only in Formule 1 (if glass-breakage option), Formule 2, Formule 3
Covers damage from an officially declared natural catastrophe, technological catastrophe, terrorism/attacks, and storm (wind over 100 km/h or equivalent damage), hail, or snow/ice falling from roofs. Granted automatically in Formule 1 only if the glass-breakage option is subscribed; included in Formule 2 and Formule 3.
Vandalism
Conditional
Only in Formule 2 (if theft-related), Formule 3 (non-theft-related)
Vandalism consecutive to theft or attempted theft is covered under the Vol (theft) guarantee, available from Formule 2. Vandalism not consecutive to theft/attempted theft is covered only under the Dommages tous accidents guarantee, available only in Formule 3.
Roadside assistance
Covered
Only in Formule 1, Formule 2, Formule 3
Included in all formulas with no kilometric deductible. Covers breakdown/accident/fire towing (up to 160 EUR), taxi (up to 60 EUR), hotel accommodation for passengers, and related assistance services organised by Mondial Assistance France.

The Tous risques premium formula extends replacement vehicle cover to 30 days for all events.
Personal driver protection (bodily injury)
€600,000
Only in Formule 1, Formule 2, Formule 3

Key conditions
Driver age and experience limit
Drivers holding a licence for less than 3 years must be declared as 'conducteur occasionnel' unless designated habitual driver. If not declared, an at-fault claim triggers a 2,000 EUR deductible and a 30% reduction of the Protection Personnelle du Conducteur indemnity.
Repair network requirements
The policyholder may freely choose a repairer. Using Thélem's approved network of over 1,500 selected professionals provides lifetime-guaranteed repairs, a free safety check, vehicle cleaning, and a free courtesy vehicle during repairs.
Territorial scope
Metropolitan France, Andorra, Monaco, EU member states, Holy See, San Marino, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Norway, plus non-crossed-out Green Card countries for most guarantees; worldwide for personal assistance.
Anti-theft requirements
Theft or attempted theft is excluded if the keys were left in, on, or under the vehicle at the time of the theft, unless the theft resulted from forced entry into a locked private garage, a locked gate, or an act of violence.
Claim notification deadline
Claims must be declared within 2 working days for theft (with police report also filed within 2 days), within 10 days following publication of the interministerial decree for a Catastrophe Naturelle claim, and within 5 working days for all other claims.
Deductible rules
A degressive deductible clause reduces the Incendie, Vol, and Dommages tous accidents deductibles by 20% for each claim-free year, reaching zero after 5 consecutive claim-free years; the deductible resets to its initial level after an at-fault, fire, theft or parking-related claim.
