The ALTE OLDENBURGER Krankenversicherung AG received the top 'A++' (excellent) rating from Assekurata for the 24th consecutive time, making it the only private health insurer in Germany to achieve this top score uninterrupted for so long, with particularly strong marks for customer orientation, security, results and premium stability. Since January 1, 2026, the company expanded its executive board to three members with the addition of Daniel Sander. In 2024 the insurer also began offering composite insurance products (liability, home contents) under the new brand 'AO NOW' in cooperation with Neodigital Versicherung AG, which acts as risk carrier.
