(France) as authorized to conduct cross-border insurance business in Germany via its Irish branch, with a 2026 notice extending the range of insurance classes it may write in Germany. In Germany, Europ Assistance operates through two registered entities, Europ Assistance SA Niederlassung für Deutschland (Grünwald, HRB 254820) and Europ Assistance Versicherungs-AG (Munich). In 2018 the company was successfully cautioned by consumer group Bund der Versicherten for using several invalid insurance policy terms.
