Regulatory updates
INTER's insurance entities (INTER Kranken, INTER Leben, INTER Allgemeine, INTER Verein) are supervised by BaFin. In late 2024, the Freie Arzt- und Medizinkasse VVaG (FAMK) was merged into INTER Krankenversicherung AG by transfer of assets, effective 1 January 2024 and entered in the commercial register in November 2024, after FAMK experienced financial difficulties. The group continues to operate under BaFin's Solvency II supervisory framework.
